Robert Ward – Founder and Managing Partner

With over 25 years of aviation and executive leadership in U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, and small business, Robert Ward brings a keen understanding to government, technology and infrastructure projects. Rob has served as strategic advisor to think-tanks, foreign militaries, and senior U.S. officials, and has led international government-relation teams in foreign missions.

Adin M. Pfeuffer - Member

A Senior Operations and Program Management expert, Adin M. Pfeuffer leads with a depth of experience in spearheading large-scale, mission-critical programs and initiatives while working through challenging and complex obstacles to achieve strategic objectives. With over 20 years of interaction with senior levels of the U.S. Government, foreign governments and their representatives, Adin builds consensus with global leaders and fosters cooperation in support of organizational interests and policies.

DR. michael lambert – MEMBER

A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy (USAF) and the Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Michael Lambert is an Ophthalmologist with a specialty in Vitreoretinal Surgery as well as a Supersonic Jet Instructor Pilot. Prior to his retirement as a Colonel in 1990, Dr. Lambert was Chairman of the Air Force’s Ophthalmology residency and was the Consultant to the Surgeon General and the Chief of the Department of Surgery at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center.

He has held faculty positions at both Emory and Baylor Universities and is founder of Retina and Vitreous of Texas (RVT), a surgical practice in Houston. He retired recently to focus on charity vitreoretinal care at I Care San Antonio, a non-profit dedicated to providing quality eye care to low income and homeless people. He is the author of numerous papers and lectures in his specialty and has participated in many clinical trials. 

Mike’s surgical passion is the development of instruments and surgery to improve outcomes in all vitreoretinal diseases focusing on the most complicated cases. An early pioneer in stem cell cures for Macular Degeneration and other diseases with Opexa (formerly Pharmafrontiers) in Houston and the Reeve-Irvine stem cell center, Dr. Lambert’s work is continued today by the Willis Eye Hospital is Philadelphia.

Dr. Lambert has been involved in co-founding several foundations including the Robert Machemer Foundation and the Nantucket Retina Foundation. Along with his wife, Jenny, Mike has been active in founding charitable non-profits such as the Greenon HS Foundation and the Giampetro Scholarship. He is a Founding Director of the USAF Academy (USAFA) Endowment and worked on the USAFA Class of 1970's SEA Pavilion and Plaza of Heroes, the first major Heritage Project at USAFA. 

Mike has received many awards through the years for his work, including the Honor and Senior Awards from the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Vitreous Society. 

Dr. John PACANOWSKI – member

Dr. Pacanowski graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1990 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology/ Genetics and Developmental Biology. Following completion of his medical degree, Dr. Pacanowski completed his surgical internship and residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center where he also concluded his Vascular Fellowship in 2003.
Dr. Pacanowski is an Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center and the Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Tucson Medical Center.

He is an accomplished research scholar receiving many academic and teaching awards including the Endovascular Fellow’s Research Award in 2002 and 2003, as well as the Southern Association of Vascular Surgery Founders Award in 2003. He is the author of numerous journal publications and has co-authored several text book chapters.
